TECHNICAL RADIO SYSTEMS TRAINER (W/ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Trains DOS Information Management Specialists (IMS), Information Management Technical Specialists (IMTS), and locally engaged staff (LES) employees on a variety of radio systems both local (VHF and UHF) and long distance (High Frequency - HF).

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

¤ A minimum of five (5) years of experience and working knowledge of engineering, standard installation practices, operation and maintenance procedures for radio systems, to include:
      ¤ Programming and maintaining VHF/UHF Repeaters: Motorola GTR-8000, Quantar T5300 and Tait repeaters.
      ¤ Installation, tuning, and maintaining of radio duplexer equipment.
      ¤ Programming and knowledge of High Frequency (HF) radio equipment such as the Codan Envoy.
      ¤ Experience with identifying and resolving network switching, routing and real time communications Radio over Internet Protocol (RoIP) problems.
      ¤ Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) - current or required within first 90 days of starting work.
      ¤ Must possess an active and current Secret government security clearance.

DATA LITERACY TRAINER (W/THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN A SECRET CLEARANCE)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides stand-up classroom training and eLearning in data literacy and Department of State (DOS)-specific knowledge management to a diverse cross-section of DOS employees (Foreign Service, Civil Service, and Locally Employed Staff working across a wide range of functional duties within the Department).

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

¤ 2+ years of professional work experience training adult learners in data analysis and visualization tools such as, but no limited to: Microsoft Excel and Power BI, R, Python, and Tableau.
¤ Strong foundation in data literacy concepts to include not only experience teaching these concepts, but educational and working-level experience performing data analysis (cleaning data, identifying patterns and statistical analysis of data sets, and presentation of data analysis through any of the software tools mentioned below and/or training in business intelligence, storytelling with data, design, or User Experience fields).
¤ Certifications (either current or must be obtained within first 90 days of start date) - Certification in Microsoft Exam: 70-778 "Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI" and Certification in Microsoft Exam: 70-779 "Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Excel".
¤ Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret government security clearance.

NETWORK SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN (W/THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN A SECRET CLEARANCE)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Build, manage, and maintain classroom environments (hardware, software, and configuration) to specification for successful delivery of curriculum that is taught.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

¤ 1 or more years of professional work experience that includes demonstrated project management or inventory control experience and experience using MCSE Server 2012 or MCSE Server 2016 or MCSE Mobility or MCSE Productivity.
¤ Required Certifications: Current VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP)
¤ Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret government security clearance.
